Rising Stars Soccer Club

The Rising Star Soccer Club was founded in the Fall of 1999 by a group of individuals who wanted to enhance the level soccer in Rome and throughout Central New York. The idea behind the Club was to prepare our children for a competitive level of play. Our mission was to develop programs that would allow children of all skill levels the opportunity of coming together to learn and to enhance their abilities. One very important aspect of the learning process is to teach and to have our children understand the true meaning of team work and importance of supporting and trusting one another on and off the field. While competing in state wide play, we look to our children to serve as ambassadors of our Club as well as our respective communities.

Over the past few years our club has evolved in a very positive manner. Not only have we grown to almost 300 members strong, but we have been successful in bringing children from various communities together as one. Through the efforts of some very dedicated volunteers, we continue to develop new ideas and programs to bring our club to the front of the soccer community. Our club has opened its doors to all children who have a love and desire for playing the game of soccer.

RSSC Soccer leagues

Rising Stars League Registration (Fall 2020/2021) Register your team for one of our divisions! The 10-week league will be starting on 11/7 and end on 1/31! - No league games will be played on 11/28, 12/26, & 1/2. DIVISIONS: We have made a small change to our division structure. We have added odd numbered divisions like u11, u13 and so on. During our second session last winter we started to do this for a couple divisions and it worked out great. For example if I have a 2008 team that is just starting out, I would put them in the "2009/2008" Division so they will be the oldest in the division. If my 2008 team is very good an experienced I would put them in the "2008/2007" division. This allows your team to find age appropriate competition every year rather than every other year. *We have added High School Specific Divisions for teams coming in to compete! Payment along with the rest of the registration documents will be due week one, Via Check or credit card payment.
